The Prince's Rules
1. Kindred;
Any Kindred wishing to stay within the boundaries of the Domain shall be judged on a case by case basis and all things shall be taken into consideration. Prior letters of introduction would be preferred and would expedite acceptance. Any non Camarilla member wishing to reside in the city must be aware of any treaties or pact that involves them, ignorance will not be accepted as an excuse. Any Kindred unwilling to share with the Prince their bloodline and lineage must have a letter of introduction from a notable Kindred of the Domain they last resided in, delivered to the Prince prior to arrival.
2. Court;
On arriving at the monthly Court all Kindred will take extra steps to prevent observation by the kine on our gatherings. This is a measure to fully preserve the Masquerade as much as possible. If arriving publicly you shall appear to be suitably dressed for formal evening function. Once inside the court chamber you may appear however you choose, providing you do not insult the Prince’s senses. Any flaunting of this rule will be taken as a deliberate attempt to breach the Masquerade and will be punished accordingly.
Court will be a civil affair. All Kindred will respect the Prince’s hospitality in allowing them an audience with him. Debates and discussion shall be encouraged at court as long as those present remember their social graces. No violence at court will be permitted, only official punishments, by the Prince or one of his officials, is exempt from this rule. As there is no violence at court, weapons will not be permitted. If you attempt to bring a weapon into the court chamber or are found with a weapon on you in the court chamber it will be taken as an attempt on the un-life of a Kindred and will be dealt with accordingly. The Prince and Sherriff will be exempt from this.
Offence disciplines of the blood such as the magic of the Tremere or the vigor and alacrity of the Brujah shall be excused, so long as such power is not displayed. Any attempt to incite violence shall be taken the same way as en acting violence one’s self. The weapon and wielder will be punished as one.
3. Duels;
One is encouraged to settle one’s disputes between yourselves. The two involved must come to an agreement on the duel in whichever way they choose. The Prince or Sherriff may demand to sit in on the duel but will not always. Any duel to Torpor must be sanctioned by the Prince and either the Sherriff or Prince will be present. The loser shall be taken into the Prince’s hospitality until a Kindred of the same clan of a high enough station comes to claim him.
A duel to the death will never be permitted by the Prince. A final death is the price one pays for breaching the Traditions, nothing less. As there is to be no violence at court they must take place at another venue. Outside the court will be adequate so long as the duelists and witnesses take care to ensure no breach of The Masquerade could occur.
4. Neighboring Domains;
A positive relationship with other domains is vital. It shall be encouraged at all times. Any Kindred who knows of any reason why residents of other cities have the want to disrupt the running of the Domain of Glasgow shall bring it to the attention of the Prince or his Primogen immediately.
5. Ghouls;
Kindred may create ghouls as required, however all ghouls are required to obey all the laws of the city, the creator of the ghoul is responsible for the ghouls' actions and are liable for any crimes their ghouls commit.
