Caledonia Nocturnus

You know, the chinese have a curse... something about living in interesting times. It doesn't get more "interesting" than war, I suppose. The Sabbat are attacking the Anarch and Camarilla cities all along the east coast of America and this time it looks like they are starting to win. What we need is a concerted plan. Something we can agree on and implement together with full force. Of course, agreement is probably the hardest part...

The Anarchs are getting together to discuss the war with the Sabbat in the US. They've picked somewhere sparsely populated with kindred where no one can disturb them. There will be representatives from all along the American east coast and the rest of the world. This is a War Council. At the end of the meeting there should be a plan on how the Anarchs, and hopefully the Camarilla, will deal with the Sabbat incursion.

Those who play Anarchs at the monthly LARP will have the opportunity to play their characters. Anyone else who wants to play their character will need a very good reason to be going. Otherwise, you will have the choice of a city representative or one of the small list of NPCs (to be announced).

Booking

The final payment date is Friday, 2nd November.

The deposit will secure your place and is non-returnable.

Payment can be made in instalments to the Treasurer (Ellissa McIntosh, who plays Marchesa Vilanova) in either cash or cheque.

The Venue

We are hiring out the entire Pitlochry hostel. It takes over 60 people and is well situated for public transport and local restaurants and shops.

Note that everyone will be expected to help out with washing dishes and keeping the hostel tidy.

Transport

Car Edinburgh->Pitlochry: cross the Forth Road Bridge, follow the M90 north, and at Perth start to follow the A9 towards Inverness. Thereafter, follow signs to Pitlochry.

Car Glasgow->Pitlochry: travel north allowing the M80, A80, M80, and finally the A9 to carry you to Perth (don't worry, despite the road's frequent name changes, no turn-offs are necessary). Thereafter, follow the A9 towards Inverness as above

Train Glasgow->Pitlochry: Direct train from Queen Street Station. The journey takes about 1.5hrs. You can book with National Rail.

Train Edinburgh->Pitlochry: Direct train from Edinburgh. The journey tales about 40mins. You can book with National Rail.

Bus Glasgow->Pitlochry: Leaves from Buchanan Street Bus station taking about 2 hours. You can book with Scottish Citylink.

Bus Edinburgh->Pitlochry: Leaves from the Bus Station at St. Andrew Square taking about 2 hours. You can book with Scottish Citylink.
