Experience Explained

As you play your character you gain "Experience". We assign this depending on how well you roleplay and how involved your character is in the game. This experience is used to improve and develop your character's abilities. You don't have to spend it as soon as you recieve it... you can also save it up to buy something bigger later!

Experience is simple compared to the standard Vampire: the Masquerade rules. There is no multiplication involved, i.e. it does not cost more experience to go from the 4th dot to the 5th level than it does from 1st to 2nd. We feel that for a system where play is infrequent this is a much better system for character advancement.

Also its you the player who accumulated the experience in this game, not your character therefore experience can be earned by one character and spent by another character, as long as both characters have the same player of course. Experience cannot be transfered between players.

This table lists the costs for spending experience:

XP Expenditure Forms

Please fill in one of the following forms when you want to spend your accumulated experience.

You can either email us the form or hand it to us in person. At this point, we will review your request. Assuming there is no problems, the Secretary will update our database with the experience expenditure and character changes. The final step occurs when you sign the form to confirm that you have recieved the notification. At that point you can update your own copy of your character.
