Skills List

There are 3 levels to each skill: Basic, Advanced and Master. Note that Master level is not available at character generation or to characters with a higher generation than 7th. Have a look at the Skills list to find out what the skills are. The listed skill cost will give you the skill at Basic. Buying the skill again gives you it at Advanced, and again to raise it to master.

"Roleplay Skills", as listed in the bottom table, are social skills that should be roleplayed at the live game. In the live setting, these skills will rely on your ability to actually roleplay them and not on game mechanics.

N: Alertness 3 No    Spotting things out of place, being aware of your surroundings. 
N: Athletics 3 No    Running, jumping, swimming, climbing etc 
N: Brawl 3 No    Unarmed combat, wrestling, boxing, martial arts (only unarmed forms) 
N: Dodge 3 No    Getting out of the harms way 
N: Drive 3 No    The operation of wheeled (mostly) street bound vehicles. Bike, cars, van, trucks etc. 
N: Firearms 3 No    The uses of firearms from air soft and BB guns up to military grade automatic weapons. 
N: Intimidation 3 No    The skill of scaring people into submission Note: Also an Edu skill depending on method of Intimidation used.  
N: Melee 3 No    The skill at arms, hand to hand arms that is, so baseball bats, sword, stakes etc 
N: Stealth 3 No    Both hiding and moving silently, blending in. Also useful to spot trails (using Edu) 
 
New Educated Skills

N: Academics 3 No    Schooling and general knowledge. A catch all skills for how well classical academically trained you are, includes humanities, arts and basic sciences. 
N: Computer 3 No    The ability to utilise computers, from basic web searching through involved programming to hardcore hacking and cracking. Also used in system design to stop people from hacking/cracking your systems. 
N: Crafts 3 No    Any skill that allows you to create something, from wood carving over sculpting to being a gunsmith. 
N: Ettiquette 3 No    Knowing the in and outs of polite behaviour, both in kindred and kine circles. Being able to not behave out of place in other environments. 
N: Expression 3 No    Being good with words, mostly whilst writing. Very much like crafts as long as what you are crafting is words. 
N: Finance 3 No    Understanding of how money works, including stock markets, investments, tax laws, mortgage systems etc. 
N: Intimidation 3 No    The art of scaring people into submission Can also be used with PHYS depending on use. 
N: Investigation 3 No    Following clues, finding lost items or people and generally being trained to ask the right people the right questions. 
N: Law 3 No    Knowledge of the laws of man and Camarilla alike. Knowledge of precedents, the laws and law process itself. 
N: Linguistics 1 No    The knowledge of a foreign language. The higher your skill score the less obviously foreign you sound and the more unusual phrases and words you know. 
N: Medicine 3 No    From first aid to actual surgery and advance medical knowledge. 
N: Occult 3 No    Knowledge of the occult works. Unlike lore which are specific actual information about one particular subject the occult skill covers everything but the information is a lot more vague and often to be taken with a pinch of salt. You know what is in occult circles accepted whether that is right or wrong. 
N: Politics 3 No    Knowledge of the political systems, political processes and governing.  
N: Science 3 No    Knowledge of modern sciences. Unlike academics which focusses on classical knowledge this is the current state of the art. 
N: Security 3 No    Knowledge of security systems and how to get around them. Includes jar jacking, safe cracking, alarm system disabling as well as designing and installing safety systems. 
N: Streetwise 3 No    The way of the street, blending in, finding safe houses, getting information or illegal goods and services. 
N: Survival 3 No    The knowledge of how to survive in the wilderness. How to find your way with and without compass and map, how to build shelters, follows tracks etc.

N: Animal Ken 2 No    The ability to be good with animals. How to approach them and deal with them. Please note not matter how good you are with animals most of them are instinctively afraid of kindred. 
N: Empathy 2 No    The ability to understand the emotions of others (kine mostly) and through that the ability to fake those emotions or act in a manner suitable to emotional state of others. 
N: Leadership 2 No    The ability to lead, be that through respect, fear or money incentives. Knowing how to command and how to get respect. 
N: Performance 2 No    Being able to perform at a chosen skill, be it dance, an instrument or beat poetry.  
N: Subterfuge 2 No    Knowing how to spot people lying and how to lie convincingly.

N: Lore 1 No    In depth detailed know one specific subject. The more precise the domain is the better the information. So if you had Lore (Vampire) you would know they exist, that there are different clans and groups but none of the specifics. If you chose Lore (The line of Harderstadt the younger) then your knowledge would include exact lineages, rough dates of embraces and a good idea of notable deeds of members of that line.
